You are not on NetSuite
Numeric's integrations center on NetSuite. SAP-based or multi-ERP groups should confirm support early, or look at BlackLine and FloQast.
Numeric runs the close checklist, reconciliations, flux analysis and cash matching on live ERP data, mostly for mid-market teams on NetSuite. Teams look at alternatives when they are not on NetSuite, need SOX packages, or want close tied to planning or a heavier enterprise matching engine.
We rely on vendor documentation, pricing pages and other primary sources. We do not use G2 or Capterra ratings as ranking inputs.
Material corrections can be submitted through the contact page. We update pages when a claim can be verified against a stronger source.

FloQast is the closest peer, BlackLine is the enterprise step up, Trintech Adra suits NetSuite and Dynamics teams, and Datarails and Planful pair the close with FP&A.
A reason to switch has to be structural: the pricing model, the ERP it has to sit inside, a deployment or security constraint, or the admin effort to keep it running. If none of the reasons below describes your setup, the migration will cost more than the problem it solves, and the Numeric profile is the better place to spend an hour.
Numeric's integrations center on NetSuite. SAP-based or multi-ERP groups should confirm support early, or look at BlackLine and FloQast.
Numeric's four products cover close, cash, billing and revenue, and ERP replacement. FloQast sells SOX 404a and 404b packages next to its close products.
Numeric can become the system of record module by module. That is a large change, and teams that only want a close tool may prefer a vendor without that roadmap.
Planful and Datarails sell close products next to FP&A, which helps if the same small team runs both.
Read the last column first. Ruling an option out is quicker than ranking what is left, and every tool in this table gives something up. If more than one person has to sign off, record each reason in the software evaluation scorecard as you work down the rows.
Prices as published by each vendor, checked on 25 Sep 2026. Quote-based means the vendor lists no price.

Nothing here is ranked, because this site publishes no scores. Each entry names who it suits better than Numeric, what the vendor charges and what you give up by taking it, so an entry whose "best for" is not you is one you can drop without reading further.

Staying put is the right answer more often than a shortlist implies. Numeric has to be wrong on something you cannot configure or negotiate around before a move pays for itself, and what Numeric actually charges usually settles whether cost is that thing.
Stay with Numeric if you are on NetSuite, your close reporting depends on flux commentary, and you like adopting one product at a time. Its path to billing, revenue and ERP replacement is unusual among close tools.
If the decision is still open, the head-to-head on Numeric vs Trintech Cadency works through the same trade-offs one pair at a time.
Facts and prices on this page come from each vendor's own site, checked on 25 Sep 2026. Vendors change prices and packaging without notice, so confirm before you budget.
Cut the list to two or three, not five. Put the Numeric profile next to them, send every vendor the same scoping questions so the quotes come back comparable, and ask each one what the first ninety days look like.
Do the arithmetic before the demo. The software ROI calculator shows whether the saving covers implementation, and the full list of accounting software is where to widen the field if none of these fit.
FloQast is Numeric's main competitor for mid-market close management. BlackLine is the usual comparison for larger, multi-entity groups.
Numeric's integrations center on NetSuite, so confirm support for any other ERP during the demo. Trintech Adra lists NetSuite and Microsoft Dynamics, and BlackLine sells Smart Close for SAP.
It can be. Numeric sells an ERP Replacement product that becomes the system of record module by module, alongside its close, cash, and billing and revenue products.
