Chaser: ar automation software platform

Chaser publishes a full rate card, which in AR automation is rare enough to be a reason to start here. On the United States view, checked 16 October 2026, Compact runs From $259 per month, Core From $779 and Complete From $1169. Buy it if chasing invoices is the job. Skip it if you need credit-to-cash breadth.

Chaser in brief

Chaser publishes a full rate card, which in AR automation is rare enough to be a reason to start here.

Price
From $259 per month (US view, Compact, monthly) · Flat monthly fee by total annual revenue band, not per user
Best for
Mid-market AR teams fixing inconsistent invoice follow-up
Watch out for
You give up the back half of the receivables cycle.

The short answer

Buy Chaser if your receivables problem is follow-up rather than reconciliation: invoices go out fine, then nobody chases them in a consistent order. The tier is set by your total annual revenue rather than by seats, so from Core upward you get unlimited users, unlimited follow-up templates and unlimited automated workflows at a price you can read off the page before you speak to anyone.

Skip it if your bottleneck is cash application, deductions or dispute management at volume, because Chaser is built around chasing, forecasting and collecting rather than around matching remittances. Skip it too if you want the managed service economics to be an afterthought: Chaser Care costs several times the software line, with Compact + Care listed From $1199 per month against Compact's own From $259.

Where Chaser fits

Chaser starts from a narrow diagnosis: most late payments are not a data problem, they are a follow-up problem. So the product is a chasing engine first. It sends payment reminder emails, writes them with an AI email generator, sends SMS reminders, places automated phone calls, lets your team make in-app calls, issues automated letters, and tracks all of it as tasks with recommended actions. If you can describe your receivables issue as "we chase when we remember to", this is the shape of tool that fixes it.

The pricing metric is the second thing that decides fit, and it is unusual. Tiers are set by total annual revenue, not by headcount: on the United States view Compact covers revenue under 5 million USD, Core under 13 million USD and Complete under 120 million USD, with Custom quoted above that. Compact caps you at 4 users, 30 follow-up templates and 4 automated receivables workflows. Core and above list unlimited users, templates and workflows. Hiring two more credit controllers should not change your bill, and crossing a revenue band should.

Chaser assumes your ledger stays where it is. It syncs two ways with Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, AccountsIQ, Dynamics 365 Business Central, SAP, Epicor and FinancialForce, plus Zapier, an API and CSV import, so the invoice data keeps living in the accounting system and Chaser works the overdue list. That also explains the partner programme aimed at accountants and bookkeepers: a firm can run chasing for a book of clients without touching anyone's chart of accounts.

Around the chasing layer sit three things worth separating in your head. Forecasting covers cash flow, revenue and receivables forecasts, with payment prediction and AI debtor risk insights on top. Credit covers monitoring and credit reports. Collection covers Chaser Pay, a customer payment portal, payment plans and payment plan management, early payment discounts and late payment fees. Multi-entity support appears from Core, so a group running several trading companies needs the middle tier rather than the entry one.

Where Chaser stops is the back half of the receivables cycle. There is no cash application module in the sense an enterprise invoice-to-cash platform means it, no deductions management and no dispute workflow with claim forms and settlement logic. The vendor is a UK company, Chaser Technologies Limited, registered in England and Wales, and the pricing page carries a country selector covering the United Kingdom, Europe, the United States, Australia, New Zealand and Rest of World, so the currency your contract is written in is a question to settle early rather than assume.

Chaser pricing

Chaser publishes list prices, and that alone puts it ahead of most of this category on budgetability. Checked on 16 October 2026, the United States monthly view shows Compact From $259 per month, Core From $779 per month and Complete From $1169 per month, with a Custom tier priced on request. A Yearly toggle is marked Save 10%, and on that view Compact is From $233 per month, Core From $700 per month and Complete From $1050 per month. Every tier is published as a From figure, so read these as a floor rather than a quote.

Figures as published on the Chaser pricing page and checked on 16 October 2026, on the United States dollar view. The same plans are also listed in pounds, euros, Australian dollars and New Zealand dollars, and the numbers differ by view, so compare like with like before you quote anyone a budget.

Four things move the figure you end up paying, and only the first is obvious from the table.

  1. Your revenue band, because it is the whole pricing metric. Compact, Core and Complete map to revenue under 5 million USD, under 13 million USD and under 120 million USD on the United States view. If you expect to cross a band inside the contract term, ask what the uplift is while you are still negotiating rather than discovering it at renewal, and ask what happens if revenue falls instead.
  2. The word From, which is doing real work in every published figure. Chaser lists each tier as a From price, so invoice volume, entity count and the modules you switch on can take the quote above the number you read. Ask the sales team to state what would move you off the floor price for your own volume, and get the resulting figure written into the order form rather than inferred from the page.
  3. Billing frequency. The page shows a Monthly and a Yearly toggle with Yearly marked Save 10%, and the yearly US figures are From $233, From $700 and From $1050 per month for the three published tiers. The saving is real and so is the commitment, so if you are piloting rather than committing, price the monthly line and accept you are paying for the option to leave.
  4. Whether you buy software or software plus people. Chaser Care is a managed service with its own price layer: Compact + Care From $1199 per month, Core + Care From $2149 per month and Complete + Care From $2799 per month on the monthly US view. That sits alongside the software fee rather than inside it, and it is the single biggest decision in the quote.

What costs extra

  • Chaser Care, the managed AR service, available on all plans. The comparison table lists a dedicated AR specialist, payment follow-ups, inbox management, account setup, AI-driven optimizations, bank reconciliation and bookkeeping support in that column.
  • Debt collection services, sold as a separate service line for delinquent accounts, with no published price.
  • Professional services, described on the site as flexible receivables and credit control support selected to suit the business, again with no published price.
  • Assisted onboarding is listed as a feature of the higher plans in the comparison table rather than as a separate charge, so no implementation fee is published.

Budget Chaser as two lines rather than one. The software line is readable today: pick the revenue band you will be in at renewal, take the published From figure for that tier in your contract currency, and treat anything above it as something sales has to justify. The second line is the services decision, and it dwarfs the first. If a managed AR specialist is what the team needs, price Care against the cost of the half a person you would otherwise hire. If it is not, buy the software tier and keep the chasing in house, because that is the part the published price covers.

What Chaser gives up

You give up the back half of the receivables cycle. Chaser chases, forecasts and collects. It does not ship a cash application engine that matches remittances to invoices at scale, a deductions module, or a dispute workflow with claim forms, routing and settlement. Teams whose real pain is unapplied cash sitting on the ledger at month end are buying the wrong half of the problem here, and should look at platforms built around matching instead.

You give up credit decisioning depth. Credit monitoring, credit reports, AI debtor risk insights and payment prediction are on the feature list, which is more than many chasing tools carry, but this is monitoring rather than a credit management module with online credit applications, automated credit limit setting, enforceable limits and order freezes. If your credit team wants to run onboarding and limit policy inside the same tool, that is a gap.

You give up the entry tier faster than you expect. Compact's 4 users, 30 follow-up templates and 4 automated receivables workflows are a genuine cap, and multi-entity support appears from Core rather than from Compact. Any group with two trading entities, or any team where four people need logins, is pricing from Core at From $779 per month, not from the headline From $259. Price the tier you will live on, not the one at the left of the table.

You give up certainty on your own number, because every published figure is a From price. That is still far more than most of this category gives you, but it is not a list price in the sense that a per-seat SaaS price is. Your invoice volume, entity count and module mix can all take the quote above the floor, and the page does not say by how much.

You give up the single-platform story. Chaser connects to the ledger you already run rather than replacing any part of it, which is the right call for most mid-market teams, but it means receivables sits in one tool, payables in another and the GL in a third. If your brief is consolidating the office of the CFO onto one platform, a suite vendor answers that brief and Chaser does not.

How Chaser compares

The useful comparison in AR automation is rarely feature by feature, because the features converge. It is who tells you the price and what metric they charge on. Chaser and Kolleno publish figures. Upflow publishes a shape without figures. Gaviti publishes a stated metric and no numbers at all. Prices below come from each vendor's own page, checked on the date shown in that product's pricing section.

ToolBest forPriceWhere it breaks
ChaserMid-market teams whose receivables problem is consistent multi-channel follow-up, priced by revenue band rather than seatsFrom $259, $779 or $1169 per monthNo cash application, deductions or dispute module, and Compact caps you at 4 users with no multi-entity
KollenoSmaller finance teams who want a published per-user price and a plan tied to turnover bands$545 or $995 per user/month billed annuallyPriced per user with a minimum seat count per plan, and the two Enterprise tiers are quoted
UpflowTeams who want unlimited seats and a plan sized by annual invoiced revenue rather than headcountNot published, quote only (Payments add-on $390/month)Every plan tier is quote-based, and each one also caps new invoices per year
GavitiTeams who need credit, disputes and cash application alongside collections in one usage-priced packageNot published, quote onlyNo figure anywhere, so the whole business case comes out of a sales conversation

What to test in a Chaser trial

Chaser publishes a free trial, with Start free trial and Try Chaser for free on the pricing page and no stated length. That makes this one of the few products in the category you can judge before a sales call, so use the trial to test the chasing engine and the sales call to pin the From price down.

  1. Connect the ledger you run in production and watch the sync go both ways. Pick Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, AccountsIQ, Dynamics 365 Business Central, SAP, Epicor or FinancialForce, import your live aged debtors, then mark an invoice paid in the accounting system and confirm Chaser stops chasing it. A one-way sync that leaves customers being chased for settled invoices is the failure mode worth proving absent.
  2. Rebuild your worst chasing sequence rather than the default one. Take the customer who pays at 60 days and model the real cadence: email reminders, the AI email generator's drafts, SMS, an automated phone call and finally an automated letter. Compact gives you 30 follow-up templates and 4 workflows to do it in, so if you run out of room during the trial you have learned which tier you are buying in practice.
  3. Test the forecast against a month you already know the answer to. Load last quarter's receivables, then compare the cash flow, revenue and receivables forecasts and the payment prediction with what landed in the bank. Forecasting is the half of Chaser that is hardest to judge from a demo and easiest to judge from history.
  4. Put a real customer through Chaser Pay and the payment portal. Send one invoice, pay it as the customer would, set up a payment plan, and check what the early payment discount and late payment fee logic does to the ledger entry. Then ask what card and bank transfer fees apply, because the pricing page prices the software and not the money movement.
  5. Settle the commercial questions in the same week. Confirm which revenue band you sit in and what the uplift is if you cross it, ask what takes you above the published From figure for your volume and entity count, choose the contract currency from the country selector, and get Care quoted as a separate line against Compact + Care From $1199 per month so you can judge the service on its own merits.

Frequently asked questions about Chaser

How much does Chaser cost?

Chaser publishes list prices. On the United States view, checked 16 October 2026, Compact starts From $259 per month, Core From $779 per month and Complete From $1169 per month, with a Custom tier quoted above the Complete band. Yearly billing is marked Save 10% on the same page.

What does Chaser do?

Chaser is accounts receivable automation built around chasing overdue invoices. It sends payment reminder emails, writes them with an AI email generator, sends SMS reminders, places automated phone calls, issues automated letters, and tracks the work as tasks. Forecasting, credit monitoring and a payment portal sit around that core.

Does Chaser charge per user?

Only on the entry plan. Compact lists 4 users, while Core, Complete and Custom all list unlimited users, unlimited follow-up templates and unlimited automated workflows. The plan you need is set by your total annual revenue band rather than by how many people log in.

What is Chaser's pricing per month on annual billing?

The pricing page shows a Yearly toggle marked Save 10%. On the United States yearly view, checked 16 October 2026, Compact is From $233 per month, Core From $700 per month and Complete From $1050 per month. Every figure is published as a From price, so treat it as a floor.

What does Chaser Care add to the price?

Care is a managed service sold as an add-on to all plans, with a dedicated AR specialist, payment follow-ups, phone calls, inbox management and dispute handling. On the United States monthly view it is listed from $1199 per month with Compact, $2149 per month with Core and $2799 per month with Complete.

Does Chaser integrate with Xero and QuickBooks?

Yes, both, with a two-way sync. Chaser also lists Sage, AccountsIQ, Dynamics 365 Business Central, SAP, Epicor and FinancialForce, plus Zapier, an API and CSV import. Your ledger stays the system of record and Chaser works the overdue list against it.

Does Chaser have a free trial?

Yes. The pricing page carries Start free trial and Try Chaser for free and describes it as a risk-free trial, though it does not state a length. That makes Chaser one of the few products in this category you can evaluate before speaking to a salesperson.

Which Chaser plan supports multiple entities?

Multi-entity support is listed from Core upward, not on Compact. A group running two or more trading companies is therefore pricing from Core at From $779 per month on the United States monthly view rather than from the headline Compact figure.

Why does Chaser's price change depending on where I look?

The pricing page carries a country selector covering the United Kingdom, Europe, the United States, Australia, New Zealand and Rest of World, and each view lists different figures in its own currency. Confirm which currency your contract will be written in before comparing Chaser with anything else.

Is Chaser certified for security and compliance?

Chaser states that it is SOC 2 Type II certified on its own pages. Since the product holds your customer ledger, aged debtor data and chasing correspondence, ask for the current report and the data retention and export terms during the trial rather than after signature.
