Unlimited entities, vendors and users is unusual, so the comparison is about what the quote is based on instead: Stampli next to BILL, Stampli next to Tipalti and Stampli next to Airbase, within accounts payable automation.
What pushes Stampli cost up
Stampli's AP package includes unlimited entities, locations and vendors, so adding a subsidiary or a batch of suppliers should not by itself raise the price. Ask what the quote is based on instead, and whether it resets at renewal.
The bigger step is Beyond Accounts Payable, which adds procurement, Stampli Direct Pay, Stampli Credit Card and advanced vendor management. Get both packages priced so you can see what the procurement and payments layer costs on its own.
Stampli add-ons and extra fees
Extra costs and add-ons listed by Stampli:
- Full automation of 2- and 3-way PO matching by Stampli's Cognitive AI is listed as available on top of the included semi-automated matching.
- Procurement, Direct Pay, credit cards and advanced vendor management come with the Beyond Accounts Payable package.
Implementation: The pricing page lists onboarding, team training and a dedicated customer success manager in the AP package. No separate implementation fee is published.
What to confirm before you sign
Ask for the pricing metric
Entities, vendors and users are unlimited, so the quote is driven by something else. Get the metric and the tier boundaries written into the order form.
Check whether full PO-matching automation is extra
Semi-automated 2- and 3-way matching is included. Fully automated matching is listed as available, so confirm whether it carries a separate fee.
Price payments separately
If you plan to pay vendors through Stampli Direct Pay or cards, ask for the payment fees and any card rebates alongside the software quote.
