Precoro in brief

Precoro publishes starting prices, which is rare in procure-to-pay: Core from $499 per month, Automation from $999 per month and a standalone AP Module from $499 per month, all billed annually and checked on 16 October 2026.

Best for
Mid-sized companies buying across several locations or legal entities
Watch out for
You give up certainty about the seat line, which is the part of the bill you cannot look up.

The short answer

Buy Precoro if purchasing is spread across locations, projects or legal entities, your ledger is QuickBooks Online or Xero, and you want approvals, budgets and invoice matching in front of the ledger rather than inside it. The published $499 and $999 per month figures give you something to budget against before the first sales call, which most of this category does not.

Skip it if your system of record is NetSuite, Sage Intacct or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, because the pricing page lists ERP integration only under Enterprise, which carries no published figure. Skip it too if you need unlimited users, since tier-based user management applies on both priced plans, or if you want to self-serve a trial without talking to sales.

Where Precoro fits

Precoro is aimed at mid-sized companies whose buying has outgrown one approval chain. The symptom is not invoice count: it's that purchasing happens in several branches, projects or business units and nobody can answer what was bought, by whom and at what price without opening three systems. Precoro's answer is one intake-to-pay path with guided request forms, approval routing by department, project, location, amount, supplier or a custom field, and a document trail that records who approved what and when.

It sits in front of your accounting system rather than replacing it. Precoro says plainly that it does not replace an ERP: teams request, approve and order in Precoro, finance processes and pays invoices there, and approved purchase orders, invoices, receipts and supplier records sync back to the ledger that stays your system of record. That is the right posture for a controller who does not want purchasing rebuilt inside an ERP, and it puts the integration question at the centre of the evaluation rather than at the end of it.

Multi-entity is where Precoro argues hardest. The vendor states you can manage several legal entities in one account, switch between them to see documents, budgets and spending, give each entity its own currency, and report totals either by entity or in each entity's own currency. The interface runs in English, German, Spanish and French, so local teams in a European group are not working in a second language. Read that against the pricing page, though, where Multiple Companies is listed as an add-on with no price attached: the capability exists, and what it costs is a question for sales.

If your pain is payables rather than purchasing, Precoro sells the AP side on its own. The standalone AP Module starts at $499 per month, the same floor as the full Core procure-to-pay plan, and covers invoices, AI document processing, e-invoicing in formats including UBL 2.1, CFDI and XRechnung, budget management, invoice payments by ACH, same-day ACH, wire or international transfer, prepaid virtual cards, vendor onboarding, API access and SSO. Price it against Core before you assume you need requisitions and purchase orders as well.

Where Precoro stops is at the top of its own packaging. Unlimited users, advanced admin controls, ERP and custom-built integrations, US or EU server selection and IP white-listing all sit in Enterprise, and Enterprise shows Custom. So the two published prices describe a company on QuickBooks Online or Xero with a countable number of licensed users. The moment you need a mid-market ERP connector or a regional hosting commitment, you're in an unpublished quote and the $499 and $999 figures stop being your reference points.

Precoro pricing

Precoro publishes starting prices, and the useful work is understanding what they do and do not cover. Checked on 16 October 2026, the page shows Core from $499 per month, Automation from $999 per month and a standalone AP Module from $499 per month, all billed annually, with Enterprise listed as Custom. Precoro's own wording is starts at, and its pricing FAQ says the price is based on your plan and your number of users. So each figure is a floor for a package, not a quote: what it does not cover is your seat count, your ERP connector or your hosting region.

What Precoro publishes

Core
From $499/month (Billed annually)Purchase requests, purchase orders, receipts and invoices, 2- and 3-way match, automated approvals, custom fields and workflows, service and item catalog, vendor management, a contract repository, expense management, QuickBooks Online or Xero sync, Slack or MS Teams, the mobile app, and tier-based user management.
Automation
From $999/month (Billed annually)Everything in Core plus intelligent AP automation and e-invoicing, intake management, inventory, PunchOut catalogs, AI document processing, AI agents and an AI assistant, vendor onboarding, a supplier portal, RFPs, real-time budget tracking, API access and SSO.
AP Module
From $499/month (Billed annually)Sold on its own without the purchasing side: invoices, intelligent AP automation, e-invoicing, budget management, AI expenses, invoice payments, prepaid virtual cards, vendor management and onboarding, accounting integrations, API access, SSO and the mobile app.
Enterprise
Quote-based (Custom, billed annually)Everything in Automation plus unlimited users, advanced admin controls, ERP systems and custom-built integrations, US-based or EU-based server selection, IP white-listing and enterprise-grade data protection.

Figures as published on the Precoro pricing page and checked on 16 October 2026. Core and the AP Module share the same $499 per month floor: they are different packages, not a discount on one another, and the AP Module carries no requisitions or purchase orders.

Four things move the number you are quoted, and only the package choice is visible on the page.

  1. Seat count, on a scale Precoro does not publish. Core and Automation both list user management as tier-based, and only Enterprise lists unlimited users. Since the figures are starting prices and the FAQ names the number of users as an input, the first thing to extract is the seat bands: what you pay at your real headcount, where the next band starts, and whether an approver who logs in twice a month counts the same as a buyer who works in the system daily.
  2. The step from Core to Automation, which is a capability decision before it is a price one. Core gives you requisitions, purchase orders, receipts, invoices, two- and three-way match, approvals, vendor management, a contract repository and QuickBooks Online or Xero sync. Automation adds intelligent AP automation, e-invoicing, intake management, inventory, PunchOuts, AI document processing, AI agents, the supplier portal, RFPs, real-time budget tracking, API access and SSO. If you need SSO or an API, you need Automation, and the floor doubles from $499 to $999 per month.
  3. Your ERP, which can take you off the rate card entirely. Core and Automation list accounting and wider integrations, but ERP systems and custom-built integrations appear only under Enterprise. Precoro's own site says it integrates with QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite, Sage Intacct and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, so the connectors exist: the question is which plan yours is sold on. If you run NetSuite, confirm in writing whether that puts you on Enterprise before you anchor on a published figure.
  4. Hosting and admin requirements, which also live only in Enterprise. US-based or EU-based server selection, IP white-listing and advanced admin controls are not available on the priced plans. A group with a data residency commitment to its own auditors is buying the unpublished tier whatever its headcount, so raise residency in the first call rather than the security review.

What costs extra

  • Four add-ons are named on the pricing page with no price against any of them: Multiple Companies, Integrations, Concierge Setup and Dedicated Support.
  • Multiple Companies covers entities, users and budgets across branches and subsidiaries in one account. That is the capability Precoro leads with for multi-entity buyers, and it is listed as an add-on, so get it quoted as a line item rather than assumed.
  • Integrations as an add-on covers ERP, accounting and other business systems. Read it alongside the Enterprise feature list, which also claims ERP and custom-built integrations, and ask which route applies to your connector.
  • Concierge Setup is the paid upgrade to onboarding: up to ten consultations, five training sessions, data import handled for you and a guided test phase per user type. Standard onboarding is included in every plan, so this is a purchase, not an inclusion.
  • Dedicated Support is listed separately from standard support, with no figure and no stated response times.

Implementation and commercial terms

The rows below are what Precoro's own pricing page and FAQ confirm as of 16 October 2026. Where a row says none published, treat it as a question for the order form rather than as reassurance.

Published price
Yes, as starting prices: Core and the AP Module from $499/month, Automation from $999/month. Enterprise is Custom.
Billing basis
Billed annually. Each published figure is a per-month rate on annual billing, and no month-to-month price is published.
Users
Tier-based user management on Core and Automation. Unlimited users only on Enterprise.
Implementation fee
None published. Standard onboarding is two consultation sessions and one hour of training, included in every plan.
Go-live time
Most teams go live in 2 to 8 weeks, per Precoro, with no IT team required for setup.
Free trial
None listed. Every plan carries a Request a Quote or Book a Demo button.
Cancellation
Cancel at any time with 30-day notice, with a full data export available on request.
Security and compliance
SOC 2 Type II, GDPR and CCPA, with AES-256 encryption, two-factor authentication, role-based access and audit trails.

Budget Precoro as a floor plus three unknowns. Start from $499 or $999 per month depending on whether you need SSO, an API, intake management and AP automation, then get the seat bands, the connector route for your ledger and the price of any add-on you need, starting with Multiple Companies if you run several entities and Concierge Setup if you need data imported for you. The published figures are still worth a lot: you can walk into the first call knowing roughly what the package costs, which you cannot do with Procurify or SAP Ariba. Make Precoro quote the AP Module and Core separately as well, because they share a price and solve different problems.

What Precoro gives up

You give up certainty about the seat line, which is the part of the bill you cannot look up. Both priced plans show tier-based user management and neither publishes a band, so a company with twelve requesters and a company with ninety read the same $499 per month on the page and will not sign the same contract. Precoro is clearer than most of this category about the fact that users move the price, and no clearer about by how much. Treat the figure as the start of an arithmetic problem you will do with a salesperson.

You give up ERP integration on the priced plans. ERP systems and custom-built integrations are listed under Enterprise only, which means a NetSuite or Sage Intacct shop is negotiating an unpublished contract even if it has ten users and a simple approval chain. That is the single most expensive thing to discover late, because the integration is usually the reason the tool is on the shortlist at all, and the published prices give a buyer on the wrong ledger a confident but wrong budget.

You give up a self-serve trial. No free trial is listed on the pricing page: every plan routes to Request a Quote or Book a Demo, so the evaluation is a guided demo and whatever sandbox Precoro agrees to give you. Against that, Precoro publishes a 30-day notice cancellation and a full data export, which lowers the cost of being wrong on an annual contract more than most vendors here are willing to.

You give up a bundled onboarding promise. Standard onboarding is two consultation sessions and one hour of training. For a team standardising purchasing across fifty branches, one hour of training is an introduction, not a rollout, and the real path is Concierge Setup with its ten consultations, five training sessions, delegated data import and per-role test phase. No price is published for it, so the implementation line in your business case is blank until you ask.

You give up the regional hosting and admin controls that enterprise security reviews ask for, unless you buy the unpublished tier. US or EU server selection, IP white-listing and advanced admin controls are Enterprise features. SOC 2 Type II, GDPR and CCPA compliance, AES-256 encryption, role-based access and audit trails apply more broadly, which covers most mid-market reviews, but a data residency clause specifically does not come with the $999 plan.

How Precoro compares

In purchase order software the first useful split is whether you can see a price at all, because it decides how much of your evaluation is modelling and how much is negotiation. Precoro publishes starting prices for three packages, ProcureDesk publishes two list prices with seat counts attached, Tradogram publishes one entry figure, and Procurify publishes nothing. Every price below comes from that vendor's own pricing page, checked on 16 October 2026, and anything unpublished is recorded as unpublished rather than estimated.

What to test in a Precoro demo

No free trial is listed, so this is a demo plus a commercial interrogation. Because the package prices are published, you can model most of the cost before the call and spend the session on the three things the page leaves open: your seat band, your ledger connector and what onboarding covers.

  1. Get the user tiers named in writing before anything else. Ask what Core and Automation cost at your real headcount, where the next band begins, and whether an approver, a requester and a buyer are each billed the same. Until you have that, $499 and $999 per month are floors with no relationship to your invoice.
  2. Connect the ledger you run in production and watch the sync both ways. QuickBooks Online and Xero are listed on Core, while ERP and custom-built integrations are listed under Enterprise. Raise purchase orders and invoices in the demo environment, then check the resulting entries, vendor records and coding in your own system rather than a sample company.
  3. Price the AP Module against Core as two separate quotes. Both start at $499 per month and they cover different ground: the AP Module has invoices, payments and prepaid cards with no requisitions or purchase orders, Core has the purchasing cycle with QuickBooks Online or Xero sync. Decide which problem you are buying before you let a salesperson bundle both.
  4. Build your worst approval path and your multi-entity structure, not the clean ones. Route a document by project and location, cross an entity boundary, and have one entity report in its own currency. If Multiple Companies has to be switched on for that to work, you have found an add-on with no published price and a reason to get it quoted now.
  5. Settle onboarding and exit in the same conversation. Standard onboarding is two consultations and one hour of training, so ask what Concierge Setup costs with its data import and per-role test phase, confirm the 2 to 8 week go-live against your own calendar, and get the 30-day notice cancellation and the full data export written into the order form rather than taken from a web page.

Frequently asked questions about Precoro

How much does Precoro cost?

Checked on 16 October 2026, Precoro's pricing page lists Core from $499 per month, Automation from $999 per month and a standalone AP Module from $499 per month, all billed annually, with Enterprise shown as Custom. Those are starting prices: Precoro says the price depends on your plan and your number of users.

How does Precoro work?

Employees raise requests on guided intake forms, Precoro routes them for approval by department, project, location, amount or supplier, approved requests become purchase orders, and receipts and invoices are matched against them. Finance pays approved invoices in Precoro, and the resulting documents sync to your accounting system.

Is Precoro billed monthly or annually?

Annually. Precoro states that pricing is billed annually, and each published figure is a per-month rate on annual billing. No month-to-month price is published as of 16 October 2026. Precoro does say you can cancel at any time with 30-day notice and request a full data export.

What is the difference between Precoro's Core and Automation plans?

Core covers requisitions, purchase orders, receipts, invoices, two- and three-way match, approvals, vendor management, a contract repository and QuickBooks Online or Xero sync. Automation adds AP automation, e-invoicing, intake management, inventory, PunchOuts, AI document processing, a supplier portal, RFPs, real-time budget tracking, API access and SSO.

What does the Precoro Enterprise plan cost?

No figure is published. As of 16 October 2026 the Enterprise plan shows Custom, billed annually, and adds unlimited users, advanced admin controls, ERP and custom-built integrations, US or EU server selection and IP white-listing. If you need any of those, the published prices do not apply to you.

Does Precoro have a free trial?

No trial is listed on the pricing page. Every plan carries a Request a Quote or Book a Demo button, so evaluation runs through a guided demo. Precoro publishes a 30-day notice cancellation and a full data export instead, which lowers the risk of committing to an annual term.

Does Precoro replace our ERP?

No. Precoro states it works alongside your ERP or accounting system and handles the purchasing and AP steps, with approved orders, invoices, receipts and supplier data syncing back to the ledger that stays your system of record. It lists QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite, Sage Intacct and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Can Precoro handle multiple legal entities?

Yes. Precoro says you can manage several entities in one account, switch between them for documents, budgets and spending, give each entity its own currency, and report totals by entity or in each entity's currency. Note that Multiple Companies is listed as an add-on on the pricing page with no published figure.

How long does Precoro implementation take?

Precoro says most teams go live in 2 to 8 weeks and that setup needs no IT team. Every plan includes standard onboarding: two consultation sessions and a one-hour training session. Concierge Setup adds up to ten consultations, five training sessions and delegated data import, with no price published.

What security and audit controls does Precoro have?

Precoro states it is SOC 2 Type II, GDPR and CCPA compliant, with AES-256 and SSL encryption, two-factor authentication, role-based access controls and audit trails. SSO sits on the Automation plan, while IP white-listing and US or EU server selection are listed only under the unpriced Enterprise plan.
