Versapay alternatives for AR automation and B2B payments

Versapay combines digital invoicing, a self-service customer portal, collections, cash application and integrated ACH, card and wire payments. Teams compare alternatives when customers will not adopt a portal, payment fees matter, remittance volumes are very high, or billing runs through SaaS tools.

Billtrust and HighRadius are the enterprise options, Invoiced by Flywire and Paystand differ on payments, Quadient AR adds print delivery, and Upflow suits SaaS collections.

Why teams switch from Versapay

A reason to switch has to be structural: the pricing model, the ERP it has to sit inside, a deployment or security constraint, or the admin effort to keep it running. If none of the reasons below describes your setup, the migration will cost more than the problem it solves, and the Versapay profile is the better place to spend an hour.

The portal only helps if customers use it

Versapay's strength is a shared portal for invoices, payments and disputes. If your buyers pay through their own AP portals, Billtrust's 260+ AP portal integrations or Tesorio's Coupa and Ariba delivery may fit better.

Payment processing is priced separately

ACH and card processing fees are quoted separately from the AR software. Paystand sells a flat subscription with no per-transaction fees on its network.

Cash application at very high remittance volumes

If cash application at very high remittance volumes is the main issue, compare HighRadius, which is built for enterprise volumes.

Your ERP connector needs checking

Versapay connects to NetSuite, Sage Intacct and Dynamics 365 through APIs or flat files; confirm which connector is included for your system.

Versapay alternatives compared

Read the last column first. Ruling an option out is quicker than ranking what is left, and every tool in this table gives something up. If more than one person has to sign off, record each reason in the software evaluation scorecard as you work down the rows.

Prices as published by each vendor, checked on 25 Sep 2026. Quote-based means the vendor lists no price.

When to stay with Versapay

Staying put is the right answer more often than a shortlist implies. Versapay has to be wrong on something you cannot configure or negotiate around before a move pays for itself, and what Versapay actually charges usually settles whether cost is that thing.

Stay with Versapay if customer payment experience is part of the problem, for example B2B buyers who dispute or short-pay invoices and would use a portal to sort it out.

  • Your customers already use the Versapay portal to view invoices, pay and raise disputes.
  • Automatic cash application posts to your ERP and your team trusts the matching.
  • Collectors use the delinquency predictions to prioritize high-risk accounts.

Choosing between Versapay alternatives

Cut the list to two or three, not five. Put the Versapay profile next to them, send every vendor the same scoping questions so the quotes come back comparable, and ask each one what the first ninety days look like.

Do the arithmetic before the demo. The software ROI calculator shows whether the saving covers implementation, and the full list of billing software is where to widen the field if none of these fit.
